I was playing catch up on reading magazines I subscribe to and ran across an amazing article in The Magnolia Journal with Joanna Gaines. The article is, "The Purpose of a Photo". It grabbed my attention from the start. It begins with, "The power of an image is to stop time and capture a moment"... I highly recommend reading this article. We are the most photographed generation in history. Our technology may fail us one day or become obsolete (like a cassette tape or 8 track tape and now even a CD of images). We never know if the USB with the images will work the next time we put it into the computer. We do not know if our computers are going to start up when we press the "on" button, therefore I encourage everyone to backup, backup, then backup again. That is first and foremost if you are dealing with the digital world. As you know, I am more of an advocate of print vs digital due to all of the above reasons. There are endless options for printing your images in a way/style that you can display your precious memories.

Please take the time and read the article mentioned in this blog.

Print your memories.

Cherish your artwork for a lifetime.
