Hello, my name is Noah Shafer and I'm a 2020 graduate of Franklin County High School. During my years at FCHS I have played several sports including: Baseball - Freshman and Sophomore years and Basketball - All 4 years of my high school career. I have also been a member of The National Honor Society since my sophomore year, which has been beneficial as I have received "The Highlander Distinction Scholarship" from Radford University. As I look back on my high school career sports have made a major impact on my life. This has led to my decision of accepting my admission to Radford University in the Sports Management Program.

I look forward to making new friends and memories throughout my college years but they can never replace the memories I have made here at FCHS. Those memories have been cut short due to a Worldwide Pandemic. Some of the memories that I will miss experiencing are my Senior Prom, Banquet, Senior Awards and Senior Picnic. I would say my Senior Skip Day but since March 13, 2020 it feels like a never-ending Skip Day! LOL

This brings me to the many friends I've made over the years and how they have helped to make me who I am today. A memory that will stand out to me for years to come was being chosen as one of JollyJen's Senior Representatives along with several of my close friends. Jen made Senior Pictures a fun and enjoyable experience and I would like to say "Thank you Jen" for all you have done for the Seniors of 2020.
