This is JollyJenPhotography's 7th year in business and 6th year of having a Senior Model Rep Team. Every year we choose a theme and uprising seniors apply to be a representative for JollyJenPhotography throughout their senior year. Each potential rep completes an application online and attends a mandatory meeting with a parent/guardian to discuss the entire experience including benefits, perks, expectations, etc. 

Once we have our final senior model reps selected, we organize a time/date to shoot their complimentary themed shoot. This year we chose the Roller Skating Rink and completed the shoot at Firehouse Skating Rink in Vinton, Virginia. It is always so much fun and one of our favorite things to shoot throughout the entire year. We bring in hair and makeup artists, provide snacks and photograph all day. 

We love working with these seniors and we love watching them flourish in front of the camera. The themed shoot works well for us because it is something they would never do in their personal shoots. It stretches their creativity and allows them to push themselves to in a sense, "play dress up" like a themed Halloween party and they truly LOVE it!

Once we have the images captured we schedule a reveal party where they are able to see themselves on the big screen (for the first time since our shoot). This year due to the worldwide pandemic, we chose to have the reveal party "drive-in" style with everyone sitting on their tailgates, in their lawn chairs, etc and had everything revealed on an 18' screen. Friends and families of each of the reps attend the reveal party and it truly a blast!!

If you know an uprising senior for Class of 2022, send them over. We start sending out applications in January 2021 for Class of 2022.
